The Face of the Artist

I love this portrait of Barbara Hepworth by John Hedgecoe, really arresting.  It's called 'Dame Barbara Hepworth in her familiar fur coat'.  She looks large and amorphic, just like her sculptures.  It's part of an exhibition called 'The Face of the Artist' currently showing at the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Art.  It's on until the 4th of December.
