Rosemary

I have just finished the first of my commissions.  This piece is called Rosemary and features lines from a poem by Lord Byron:

She walks in Beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes:
Thus mellowed to that tender light
Which heaven to gaudy day denies.

Hope they like it!

Memories

Sometimes I have memories in my head, as vivid as a photograph, a moment captured in my brain in technicolour.  I've been sketching some of these down, which gave me the ideas for these pieces.  They are only small, 18 x 12 cm.  They will be available to buy at the craft fair on Saturday, and in due course in my Folksy shop.

Do you have a memory, or family story that needs celebrating?  Please get in touch regarding commissions.
